Five injured in three-vehicle crash in Parkland Road, Herne Bay, off A2990 Old Thanet Way

One person was taken to hospital and four others were injured in a three-vehicle crash.
There was a huge emergency service response to Parkland Road in Herne Bay yesterday evening following the collision.
Police, firefighters and paramedics attended the scene off the A2990 Old Thanet Way.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “Crews arrived and assessed and treated four people at the scene before discharging them from our care.
“Another person was taken to the QEQM Hospital for further medical treatment.”
A police spokesperson says they were called shortly before 9pm to a report of a collision involving two cars and a van.
“Officers worked to clear the road and assist with vehicle recovery,” they said.
