Fresh appeal over attack on postman

DETECTIVES have released two e-fit images after a postman was attacked and his Royal Mail van stolen in a Kent seaside town.
The incident occurred just before 10.30am on December 15 when two robbers approached the van driver in Cavendish Street, Herne Bay.
They punched him about the face and head before driving away in his van. The empty van was later found abandoned in a small car park in Underdown Road, Herne Bay.
The postman, who was delivering special delivery parcels, was taken to hospital in Margate with face injuries but was released after treatment.
One of the men being sought is described as between 5ft 10in and 6ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing a navy baseball cap and dark clothing.
The other man has three distinctive moles on his face. He is described as about 5ft 6ins tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a blue tracksuit with a white flash and a black baseball cap.
