A Herne Bay mum has worked with Harvey Price to launch a new autism-friendly clothing range.

Kellie Barker's designs were recently modelled by the 19-year-old at a catwalk event.

Harvey's mum Katie Price described the clothes as "gorgeous" and thanked Ms Barker's company Born Anxious for creating the collection.

Ms Barker started making clothes which alerted people that her young son Oscar has autism in 2019, after becoming tired of the disapproving glances and barbed comments he received.

At 18-months-old Oscar was diagnosed with autism, along with epilepsy and a brain condition called global development delay.

As a result, Ms Barker established Born Anxious, a range of clothing warning others about her son’s special needs.

And now Harvey has launched his own collection for Born Anxious, called Black and Gold ‘The Frog Father’.

"Harvey actually drew a frog, which we created into a design with the headphones on and ‘I don’t like loud noise’," Ms Barker said.

"It’s all to celebrate Harvey’s love of frogs, which I think is his personal stamp on the clothing. He’s really proud of it."

Harvey, who is autistic and has a genetic condition called Prader-Willi syndrome, showcased the range to a packed fashion show in London on Saturday.

Sharing a picture of Harvey walking in the show on her social media this weekend, mum Katie Price wrote: "So proud of my Mr Price!

"Thank you @bornanxious for creating this gorgeous new range with Harvey."

Ms Barker added: "It’s celebrating Harvey’s charity work.

"It’s giving him his own identity on the clothing which he did wear anyway. "

Mr Price has been a Born Anxious ambassador for two years, which led to the creation of his own clothing range.

All proceeds from Harvey’s collection are split between his personal fund, the Anna Kennedy Online charity and Born Anxious.

Kellie’s clothing ranges come with messages printed such as, 'bee kind, I have autisim', 'I'm anxious', 'my mum's winging it' and 'I don't like loud noise'.

The fashion event - organised by Cancel Cancer Africa UK - was held at the Hilton Hotel in Canary Wharf on Saturday.
