The former Herne Bay High School pupil had been reported missing by loved ones the evening before.

Her death has sparked an outpouring of grief, with friends and family gathering for a colourful balloon release on the seafront and sharing touching tributes.

Turkish restaurant A La Turka posted on Facebook today: “Our hearts ache with sorrow and shock.

“Bella was a truly beautiful soul and she graced our lives with her warmth and laughter.

“She was an integral part of our family, and her passing away has left a significant void in our hearts.

“Although she left too soon, we will forever treasure the moments we shared and hold her close in our hearts.”

“You’re one in a million and I’m gutted that my little girl isn’t gonna have the chance to meet you.”
