One4 hair salon in Herne Bay wins competition in style as designs take three places in the final

Hairdressers from One 4 in Station Road, Herne Bay, have won several awards for their designs at a competition in Faversham.

Mum and daughter duo Sue Pordage and Suzy Stockwin, and staff member Lauren Pullen, entered the Expression category together in the competition at the West Faversham Community Centre.

They were up against dozens of other hair stylists from across the county. Suzy took first place, Sue took third and Lauren took fourth.

Ms Pordage said: “It was a tough competition, and it was so close. We were together and laughing and happy.

“Suzy designed a peacock look, while I worked on a makeup and dress based on a garden theme with flower baskets in the hair design.

“To get three people into the final was brilliant. It’s a real achievement for the salon.”
