Police hunt for 5ft OAP after schoolboy attacked on bus in Herne Bay

A 5ft pensioner is wanted by police after a schoolboy was attacked on a bus.

The man – thought to be in his 70s – reportedly hit the boy in the face before jumping off the number 36 in Herne Bay.

It is said he struck the youngster as the bus stopped in Mickleburgh Hill.

The boy suffered pain to his eye.

His attacker is described as 5ft tall, aged between 70 and 80, with short grey hair and a medium build.

He was wearing a brown suit jacket and trousers at the time of the assault, which happened on December 17 between 3.30pm and 3.40pm.
