Herne Bay man Michael Jones charged with high street burglary

A 27-year-old man has been charged with a burglary at a town centre shop.
Police were called to a premises in Herne Bay High Street after receiving a report that two bottles of wine were stolen from it in the early hours of Friday, July 6.
Following a search of the area, an arrest was made.
Michael Jones, of Richmond Street in Herne Bay, was charged with burglary on Friday, July 6.
He has been released on bail to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on August 7.
