Police are at the scene of a suspected hit and run crash which left a man seriously injured.

Officers were called to the accident involving a car and a pedestrian at just before 5pm on Margate Road, Herne Bay.

It's believed the vehicle involved in the crash drove off, and a man in his 20s has been flown to a London hospital with an injury to his leg.

Enquiries are ongoing.
