Man rushed to hospital after Herne Bay gang attack

A man was found injured in a front garden after being attacked by a gang in the early hours.
The victim was taken to hospital after being discovered in Douglas Road, Herne Bay, shortly before 5am on Sunday.
Detectives have launched an investigation into the assault, and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
A police spokesman said: "The man reported that he was assaulted by a group of people in the Douglas Road area between 4.30am and 4.55am that morning.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
A resident living along the street took to Facebook to say she had been "woken up at 4.20am by the sounds of a male making moaning noises" outside.
She says he was lying in her neighbour's garden with a head wound.
