Man found on line at Herne Bay railway station suffers 'life-changing injuries'

A man has been taken to hospital with life-changing injuries after he was found on the railway line.
Emergency services were called to Herne Bay station shortly before 1pm today.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Train operator Southeastern said services between Faversham and Ramsgate were unable to run in either direction.
It later posted on social media that Margate trains were unable to call at Herne Bay and were being diverted.
A British Transport Police spokesman confirmed the force was called at 12.53pm today following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended and a man was taken to hospital for treatment to life-changing injuries.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious."

Southeastern has since confirmed lines have reopened after delays of up to 30 minutes or revised services.
