Man in 30s pronounced dead near Thanet Way between Herne Bay and Whitstable

A man in his 30s was pronounced dead near the Thanet Way this morning, police have confirmed.
Officers were called to Bullockstone Road in Herne Bay at 6.35am following "concern for a man".
They closed the Thanet Way in both directions between Herne Bay and Whitstable to deal with the incident, before reopening the route at about 9.45am.
Police have now confirmed a man was pronounced dead at the scene in Bullcokstone Road.
They say the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
The four-mile stretch of the A299 Thanet Way, which had been closed by police, is now operating as normal.
