Herne Bay: Man taken to QEQM hospital after fall in Thornden Woods

A man was rushed to hospital with a leg injury after falling in woodland outside Herne Bay.
Ambulance crews were called to Thornden Woods late this morning.
They found the man about a 10 minute walk away from the car park off Thornden Wood Road and took him to the QEQM hospital in Margate for treatment.
Ambulance crews sent a hazardous area response team vehicle, which can drive off road, to the scene.
A spokesman said the man may have suffered a broken leg.
