Men charged for Herne Bay and Faversham burglaries

A gang of four Yorkshiremen have been charged for a spate of thefts and crimes in Kent.
The group were arrested on the A299 Thanet Way on Friday, and will appear in court to face charges of burglary, criminal damage and theft in Herne Bay and Faversham.
Police say the group raided a business in Sea Street in Herne Bay on Thursday, January 4, and then broke into vehicles in Hernhill near Faversham on Friday, January 5.
The four men from Leeds were 26-year-old Shaun Richmond of Shafton View, 45-year-old Edward Hampshire of Waincliffe Place, 19-year-old Ryan Askin of Belle Isle Road, and 23-year-old Darren Bell of Winrose Hill.
They will each face two charges of burglary, attempted theft, and criminal damage.
Meanwhile Darren Bell will also face an additional charge of attempted theft and criminal damage, and for stealing a motor vehicle.
They have been remanded in custody and will appear before Medway magistrates on Monday, January 8.
