The mother of a young man missing from Herne Bay for six weeks says he has been confirmed dead in France.
Rani Ullyett posted the tragic update on Facebook this evening following the death of 28-year-old Warren Ullyett, who was last seen in the town on November 4.
She wrote: “It is with a hurting heart that I inform those near and dear that my beautiful Warren has been confirmed dead in France.
“The circumstances are not known but the loss of a loving, gentle giant is felt already.
“Those that truly knew the ‘little’ minx and his wonderful hugs will know the massive kind heart he had.
“His family and friends are beyond sad. This is a surreal ending to the harrowing search so many of you played a part in. Thank you all. Rani.”
Mrs Ullyett had earlier this month told KentOnline how she was desperate for information on her son’s whereabouts.
Warren – who at 6ft 7ins tall was nicknamed Hightower – had been suffering from depression and PTSD having been shot eight years ago.
Mrs Ullyett said at the time: “I just want to know he’s safe. He’s always been nice, he’s always been gentle. He’s my baby.”
