Emergency crews rescued two men stranded on a boat stuck in deep mud.

Herne Bay Coastguard was called to the town's harbour at 8.30pm yesterday after the pair got into trouble.

Teams were diverted from a water rescue training session to the deep mud on the seafront - where countless rescues have previously taken place.
