Car crashes into building in Station Road, Herne Bay

A pensioner was left trapped after a car crashed into the foyer of a Jehovah's Witnesses hall in Herne Bay.
The 68-year-old was taken to hospital with a leg injury after the Nissan Micra careered into the door of the building in Station Road at 7pm last night.
Police, paramedics, an air ambulance car and fire crews were all called to the scene.
The woman, and another man in his 60s, had been freed by the time firefighters arrived.
Both were taken to hospital for treatment.
