Police were called to Avenue Road after a collision between a learner driver and another vehicle in Herne Bay this afternoon.

The accident happened opposite the hand car wash between a BSM driving school car and another car.

Kent Police spokesman Amanda Wills confirmed two drivers and a passenger were unhurt in the incident which took place shortly after 1pm.

Ambulance crews were seen to be treating a woman by the roadside, but this is not believed to be in connection with the road crash.
