Police are hunting the driver of a stolen car which was found abandoned after it hit a lamp post.
The black Vauxhall Astra was taken from a property in Peartree Road, Herne Bay, on December 6 and later that evening it was found in Margate Road.
When officers arrived the driver of the vehicle was not at the scene.
Almost two weeks later, Kent Police has now appealed for information about who was behind the wheel when the car crashed.
PC David McIntyre said: "We have spoken to a number of witnesses who confirmed the driver was not seriously injured in the collision, but had left the scene prior to police attendance.
"We are continuing to make enquiries to identify the driver and would like to speak to anyone else who may have spoken with the driver following the collision or anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dash cam footage."
Anyone with information should contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/257860/21
