Sneak thief stole pensioner's handbag in Highfields View, Beltinge

Police trying to track down a burglar who stole a handbag belonging to a woman in her 90s have issued a CCTV image of the suspect.
The incident happened on Monday, July 24, at a flat in the Highfields View area of Beltinge.
Detectives say the victim reported that a man gained entry to her flat via a door which had been left ajar.
He attempted to engage the pensioner in conversation but after he left, she discovered her handbag was missing.
Following inquiries, officers have now issued a CCTV image of the man they think is responsible.
Detective Constable Rosalynd Friend said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who recognises the man pictured, or who may have information about the burglary."
