Post boxes across Herne Bay have been decorated in Christmas knitting – and the festive makeover has gone down a treat.
The Herne Bay Cosy Crew is behind the initiative, which has seen almost 10 post boxes transformed.
Pillar boxes in Eddington Lane, Bournemouth Drive, the High Street and Mickleburgh Hill have all been decorated, with those outside the train station and library also dressed up.
Diane Morley, of Roselea Avenue, spotted the decorations on Tuesday.
She said: “It’s fantastic and really cheers you up.
“I looked twice when I first saw it and when I got home got my camera and went out to get some photos of it.
“I was not in a very happy place – I had just lost my cat after 19 years, so it cheered me up no end.”
