POLICE say a Kent man with learning difficulties who vanished after visiting family in Berkshire for Christmas has been found safe and well.

Robert Manning, 42, boarded the 022 National Express coach service from London Victoria on Thursday afternoon but failed to return to his home in the Herne Bay area.

Police became particularly concerned as it was thought Mr Manning might be running low on his medication which could lead to him becoming ill.

He was located in the Eltham area on Friday afternoon.
