A person had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in mud on a beach.
Emergency services were called to Central Parade in Herne Bay just before 9pm yesterday.
Two engines attended and crews wearing dry suits were able to release the person and bring them to safety.
They were then looked after by paramedics.
A fire service spokesman added: “Following the incident, firefighters are reminding people not to try and enter extremely muddy areas, as it can often be a lot deeper than it looks and difficult to get out of.
“If you spot someone struggling in mud, don't try to rescue them yourself. Call 999 and ask for the fire service.”
