Herne Bay house fire in Elizabeth Way

Firefighters have tackled a blaze which took hold in the top floor of a Herne Bay home.
Crews were called to Elizabeth Way just after 10.30am today after the fire started in the property's loft.
Six fire engines and a height vehicle were sent and the blaze was put out shortly before 1pm.
Photos show damage to the upstairs and its roof, as well as to the porch.
No one is believed to have been injured.
As crews continue to deal with the incident, Mickleburgh Avenue is closed off at the Elizabeth Way end.
