Thanet Way crash between Whitstable and Herne Bay sparks delays

Drivers are facing delays after a crash on a major road this morning.
Police are at the scene of the accident on the London-bound Thanet Way between Herne Bay and Whitstable.
The road is down to one lane as a car has hit the central reservation near the Chestfield Tunnel, heading towards the Whitstable turn-off.
Drivers are reporting delays of up to 15 minutes.
Police spokesman Jon Green said: "We were called at 8.05am to reports a car had collided with the central reservation on the A299 at Herne Bay.
"The car was recovered at 10.17 am."
