Herne Bay 'burglar' arrested after Boots break-in

A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after hundreds of pounds of cosmetics were seized by police.
They were called to a break-in at the Boots Pharmacy in Station Road, Herne Bay, just after 12.30am this morning.
The man was arrested at a nearby address after a review of the store's CCTV footage and a search of the surrounding area.
Make-up and razor blades were also discovered at the property.
The man, from Herne Bay, remains in police custody as enquiries continue.
