Teenager’s jaw broken during altercation

KENT Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a young man's jaw was fractured in three places during a night out.
The 19-year-old was in High Street, Herne Bay, between midnight and 3am on Thursday, September 13, when the incident happened.
He had been in the Talk of the Town nightclub with friends until the early hours and was walking back to a friend's home.
He witnessed a former school friend being punched in the face by a man. When he went to check whether the assaulted man was all right, he got into an altercation with another bystander and the offender returned to the scene and punched him as well.
He was knocked out and received painful multiple breaks to his jaw. He went to the Kent and Canterbury Hospital for treatment.
The offender is described as white, aged between 22 and 23, with a medium build and short cut blond hair. He was wearing a red T-shirt.
A Police spokesman said: "We have been given good information as to who this man may be, but want as much information as possible.
