Man dies after collapsing in Herne Bay High Street

A man tragically died after collapsing in a town centre despite desperate efforts to revive him.
Police cordoned off Herne Bay High Street as ambulance crews and specially-trained firefighters attended to the man near the Texaco petrol station.
Medics worked to resuscitate him, but he tragically died at the scene.
A spokesman for the ambulance service confirmed today: "We were called shortly before 6pm on Tuesday, March 2, to reports a man had collapsed.
"Ambulance crews and community first responders attended but sadly, despite their efforts, the man died at the scene."
