Train services between Faversham and Margate delayed by trespasser on the tracks in Herne Bay

Train services were disrupted following a report of a trespasser on the tracks in the Herne Bay area.
Southeastern confirmed services between Faversham and Margate were cancelled, delayed or revised.
The electrical supply was switched off for safety reasons and services came to a stop in the area.
An emergency call was made following a sighting of trespassers on the line at 1.20pm.
The trespasser has since been apprehended by the emergency services.
Services are now able to start running through the area and trains are believed to have returned to normal.
