Two injured after brawl on Herne Bay seafront

Two men were rushed to a London hospital after a fight broke out along a coastal stretch.

Police were called to a reported altercation in Central Parade, Herne Bay, just after 11.20pm last night.

The two men were taken to hospital by paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

A police spokesman has confirmed they have both been discharged.

Detectives have launched an investigation into the fight, which happened close to the junction with William Street.

They are urging witnesses or anyone who has any information, including dashcam or CCTV footage, to call them on 01843 222289, quoting the reference number 46/106242/21, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 01843 222289.
