Arrest after alleged assault in Bank Street, Herne Bay

Two men were taken to hospital with cuts and bruises after a "disturbance" in Herne Bay.
Police were called to Bank Street at about 3.30am yesterday to reports of a group of people involved in a disturbance.
One of the victims told officers he had also been punched about half an hour earlier, as he stood on the High Street near Bank Street.
A 22-year-old man from Herne Bay was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released while the investigation continues.
