Herne Bay: Police searching for man after Eddington Lane assault

The search has begun for a hooded man after a girl was attacked in an alleyway.
She was walking near Eddington Lane in Herne Bay on Wednesday just after 3pm when she was grabbed by the suspect.
A scuffle broke out before the girl managed to break free from his grasp and get away.
The suspect is believed to be a white man, around 5ft 8in tall and was wearing a black hooded top and sunglasses.
Investigating officer Sergeant Colette Todd said: "Having followed up enquiries and CCTV opportunities, we would like to appeal for any witnesses to come forward who have not already spoken to an officer about it."
