Woman injured in hit-and-run on Greenhill Road, Herne Bay

A woman was injured after a hit-and-run crash with a Land Rover.
The collision happened near the Hawks Road junction in Herne Bay on October 16 at about 7.40am.
Police and paramedics were called after a white Citroën car travelling north on Greenhill Road and a black Land Rover Discovery travelling in the opposite direction collided.
The four-by-four left the scene and was found abandoned in Brook Close.
A woman was injured in the crash and was taken to hospital.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of the smash.
A police spokesman said: “A 29-year-old man from Whitstable was arrested in connection with the collision later the same day.
“He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
“Officers are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone who might have seen the collision or the vehicles shortly beforehand, to contact Kent Police.
“Anyone who might have dashcam or private CCTV or doorbell footage is also urged to come forward.
