Herne Bay: Four teenagers charged with 30 offences including burglary, assault and criminal damage

Four teenagers have been charged with a string of offences following reports of anti-social behaviour in Herne Bay.

Three girls and a boy were charged with 30 alleged crimes between them on Tuesday.

They include assault, criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon, burglary and several racially aggravated offences - all between November and January.

The girls, two of whom are 14 and one is 15, are from Herne Bay while the boy, 14, is from Canterbury.

The charges relate to a number of thefts and disturbances across various places in the town including a wine shop, restaurant, supermarket and petrol station.

The teenagers have been released on bail to appear at Canterbury Youth Court on Monday, February 26.
