Herne Bay joint boss John Embery said his side are confident ahead of Ramsgate match

Herne Bay joint manager John Embery said his side are not lacking in confidence at the moment.
Bay take on out-of-form Ramsgate on Saturday, a side who have lost their last five matches.
Embery believes with the way his side have been playing in recent weeks one of their next opponents will be on the receiving end of a heavy defeat.
He said: “What will happen sooner or later is someone will get a hiding. We are creating chances and doing the right thing. The players are putting pressure on teams and it is just a bit of lack of finishing and composure.
“We always fancy our chances in every game we play. We are looking forward to the match.
“It is a derby game and we always look forward to those. We feel confident and if we work hard and continue doing what we are doing then we will win.”
Bay’s match on Saturday against South Park was postponed due to the weather and Embery said his players wanted to get out and play.
He said: “It was disappointing but if the weather is not permitting then you can’t do much about it. We are playing well so sometimes you just want to get out there.
“The players wanted to play.”
Herne Bay have had their last two Saturday matches called off and had a defeat to Hythe in between. They are in 16th place on 42 points but have games in hand on a number of sides above them.
The potential backlog of fixtures is not a concern for Embery or his side.
He added: “It is only two Saturdays we haven’t played so sometimes a little bit of rest will do the players good.
“We lost against Hythe and we should never have lost that game. We should have been four or five up and we missed a lot of chances.
“The Tuesday night games are not going to be that much of an issue for the team. We feel like we are in good form and we want to play.”
