Herne Bay joint-boss John Embery is hoping his side soon get the rub of the green

Herne Bay joint-manager John Embery is hoping for the luck to turn when his side travel to Horsham in Bostik South on Saturday.
Bay have suffered three defeats in a row in the league following the 1-0 defeat at high-flying Greenwich Borough.
Embery had no complaints over the way his side played and wants to see his players put in the same effort when they play Horsham, who have won their last three.
He said: “Against Hastings we were not good enough but on Saturday you would have thought we were the home team.
“I said to them if you keep playing like that you will win 90% of your games.
“We need a bit of the rub of the green. Horsham have got better and better as the season has gone on. It is about turning up with the right attitude.”
Bay have lost six of their last eight matches and find themselves 15th in the table.
Embery believes his team were the better side against Greenwich, a team who sit third and have won six of their last seven games.
He said: “We were gutted. All I could say to them was unlucky. We hit the bar and the post whereas they had two shots in the second half and scored one. We must have had 15 corners in the second half.
“It just did not happen for us even though we worked hard. We went away from home against one of the sides that have been battering everyone and should have got something.”
Bay were due to play South Park on Tuesday but the match was postponed due to the weather.
Connor Wilkins will serve the last of his three-game suspension on Saturday while striker Ian Pulman could travel with the squad to Horsham.
