Herne Bay face five Kent derbies in the opening month of the new Ryman League, Division 1 season.
And with a Wednesday night trip to Guernsey to come in late September, the 2015-16 fixtures announced last week gave boss Sam Denly plenty to think about.
“Interesting,” was his initial reaction.
He added: “It’s like an old Kent League now. It will be competitive and nobody wants to lose to your local rivals. Hopefully, it will be good for gates.
“As for going to Guernsey on a Wednesday, it means we will fly out in the afternoon and travel back the following morning.
“They pay for the flights but it doesn’t help my boys who have to take time off work, hopefully they will be all be available.”
Bay’s first team play the under-21s on Saturday (admission free), before a trip to Erith Town next Tuesday.
Denly added: “I am happy with I have got and already know it will be hard to keep everyone happy. I will be looking to utilise loans.”
