Two aided by paramedics, one taken to hospital, after three-car crash at Seabrook Road, Hythe

Two people had to be treated by paramedics after a three-car crash.

One was taken to hospital.

A casualty also had to be helped out of their vehicle by firefighters.

The accident happened at Seabrook Road, Hythe, at about 4.10pm today (Thursday).

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police were called to a report of a three-car collision.

"Officers attended the scene along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service and the South East Coast Ambulance Service."

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said: "Two fire engines attended, and crews helped to make the scene safe and assisted one casualty out of his vehicle, who was then passed into the care of SECAmb. Kent Police also attended."

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "Ambulance crews attended the scene and there were two male patients assessed and treated, one of which was taken to William Harvey Hospital for further treatment."
