Emergency services were called after a car ended up in a ditch.
It happened at London Road, Hythe, at about 4pm today.
All three emergency services attended but the young woman driver was not thought to be badly hurt.
Folkestone Fire Station firefighter Jansen Smith said: “The car was right down the side of the ditch and it is not known how this happened.
“The ambulance service was there to help the young lady but she did not appear to be badly hurt and had been able to get herself out.”
The ditch was extremely shallow with water and the motorist had been able to avoid it and climb out as the car lay driver’s side up.
The small car, a Hyundai i10 , was not found to be leaking fuel so with no imminent danger firefighters were able to leave a vehicle recovery lorry to get it pulled out.
One fire engine from the Folkestone station was called out.
