Protestors take to the streets of Hythe to oppose three big proposed housing developments

Hundreds of activists joined a protest march in Hythe today (Saturday) to protest against over-development in the area.
A march organised by the Sellindge and District Residents’ Association (SDRA)saw a “giant rally” live up to its name as scores of protestors armed with protest banners and placards took to the streets.
The protest was objecting to three major developments campaigners say threaten the countryside around Hythe – thousands of homes planned for Otterpool Park, the proposed development at Princes Parade, and the lorry park at Stanford.
