Hythe Post Office burgled with cigarettes and tobacco reported stolen

A High Street post office was raided in the dead of the night.
Police are investigating a reported burglary at the post office in Hythe town centre.
Yesterday, on Wednesday, June 5 officers were called to the premises on the High Street just after midnight.
The suspected thieves reportedly smashed the glass door, and took items including cigarettes and tobacco.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or noticed anything suspicious in the area is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/107921/19.
