A man's been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a lorry in a village.
Police were called to Ashford Road in Sellindge at 3.30am this morning following a report of a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian.
The A20 was closed both ways resulting in slow traffic after the crash between Stone Street to B2067 Otterpool Lane.
South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) were also called to the scene and the pedestrian is reported to be in a stable condition.
The road was reopened at 11.44am and traffic was slow earlier along Stone Street as drivers looked for alternative routes around the area.
A spokesman from the ambulance service said: "Ambulance crews attended the scene alongside the air ambulance service who attended scene in one of their road vehicles.
"One patient was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries.
"The air ambulance team joined us in our vehicle to treat the patient en route to the William Harvey Hospital."
