Police are investigating after a man died from a serious but unexplained injury.
Officers were called to a house in Hythe following concern for the welfare of a person.
When they attended the address in Hillside Street at around 7.30am on Monday, they found a man seriously injured inside.
The victim, in his 20s, was found with an injury to his stomach and was declared dead at the scene.
Forensic teams were called to the address, while the street was shut off for the majority of the day.
A police spokesman said the circumstances surrounding the man's death are currently being treated as "unexplained".
"Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are conducting ongoing enquiries," he added.
