A major route was closed for more than eight hours on Friday after a serious crash involving three vehicles claimed the life of a motorcyclist.
It happened outside the Airport Cafe just before 12.30pm on Friday along the Ashford Road between A261 Hythe Road and Swan Lane.
Police, paramedics and an air ambulance attended - with the road being completely blocked until about 9pm.
But a 26-year-old man, the rider of a Honda motorbike, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police are today appealing for witnesses who may have been in the Newingreen area.
It was a three vehicle collision where the white Honda motorbike and a white Isuzu 4x4 crashed near to Red House Farm.
The motorbike then collided with a blue Volvo lorry parked in a nearby layby.
A police spokesman said: "Officers are now keen to speak to anyone who may have information about the collision.
"In particular, they would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the vehicles in moments leading up to the collision."
Anyone with information should call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538, quoting reference 24-0594.
