Black plumes of smoke could be seen across Dymchurch this afternoon after a tractor and bailer burst into flames.
The farm vehicle blaze broke out in a field at a farm in Burmarsh, and thick black plumes of smoke could be seen for miles.
Firefighters were called out to tackle the flames at about 5.10pm on Saturday and spent about an hour and 45 minutes at the scene.
They found the fire had spread from the farm vehicles to an area of cut corn.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "Three fire engines were dispatched to extinguish the flames, which firefighters wearing breathing apparatus did with a combination of high-pressure hose reel jets and compressed air foam.
"Firefighting was complete at 6.54pm."
There are no reports of any injuries, and the cause of the fire has not yet been established.
