Puzzlement in West Hythe as BT phone box near Royal Military Canal branches out as flower pot
11:30, 16 June 2014
Some people talk to plants, but it is possible that plants talk as well... using the phone?
Maybe this leafy specimen is having a long natter, but its presence inside the BT kiosk in West Hythe is certainly causing puzzlement.
The extraordinary sight was found at West Hythe Road, next to the Royal Military Canal yesterday.
The large plant is taking the whole interior of the phone box - as if it has been turned into a greenhouse.
Surely BT is not branching out into horticulture, with users leafing through plants rather than the phone book?
We're waiting to hear from them to find out what this is about, because we certainly can't twig it.
