Woman injured after falling between train and platform in Sandling Station near Hythe

A woman has been injured after falling between a train and a platform.
Trains were stopped on the line near Hythe after the victim fell this morning.
Eyewitnesses reported that the woman had been walking to get onto a train bound for London from Sandling Station, when she slipped and fell.
One witness said: "She slipped and rolled, and fell into the gap between the train and the platform."
Power to the line was switched off and the train was held while paramedics and the British Transport Police (BTP) were called.
A BTP spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to Sandling station at 8.21am today following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended and a woman has been taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries."
