Woman taken to hospital after being hit by car in St Leonard's Road, Hythe

A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
The incident happened at around 10.30am in St Leonard's Road, Hythe.
The road was closed as emergency services, including the air ambulance, rushed to the scene. It has since been re-opened.
The casualty was taken to a London hospital with a head injury.
A police spokesman said: "Police were called to a collision, reported to involve a car and a pedestrian, in St Leonard’s Road, Hythe, at 10.32am.
"The pedestrian, a woman, is reported to have sustained a head injury and has been taken to a London hospital by air ambulance.
"A road closure was enforced to allow medical crews to safely assess for injuries however the scene has now been stood down."
