Hythe Town's whole season comes down to one game as they prepare for a winner-takes-all showdown at Reachfields on Saturday afternoon.
Victory at home to Corinthian Casuals would see them qualify for the Bostik South play-offs but defeat could shatter their promotion dream.
They've won their last six games and taken 38 of a possible 45 points on an incredible run since Sam Denly's appointment as manager in January.
But Town's 13-match unbeaten run will count for nothing if it ends on Saturday and Walton Casuals win at Ashford.
Denly said: "Anything could happen.
"Win on Saturday and we could reach the dizzy heights of third but lose and we could find ourselves out of it.
"It makes for a very exciting last game of the season.
"We've got to win on Saturday. It's a must-win game and I don't mind saying that.
"The players know that. They've been playing with pressure since I came in.
"We've had to win nearly every game to get in this position and we've done that.
"We've been outstanding and Saturday's no different. It's a cup final.
"We've got - hopefully - three games left and we need to win all three.
"If we don't win on Saturday, there's every chance we could slip out of the play-offs."
Casuals' surprise home defeat to Herne Bay last weekend saw them drop out of the top six although they climbed back above Hythe with a 5-0 thrashing of Guernsey on Tuesday.
Greenwich have made the play-offs but the last three spots are up for grabs.
Denly said: "This is why we play the game, for days like Saturday. There's going to be someone disappointed and we've got to make sure it's not us.
"I'm so proud of what we've achieved, regardless of what happens on Saturday. We've come so far in three months.
"We don't want, after getting into this position, to lose it in the last game of the season. That would be criminal but let's be realistic, it could happen.
"We've got to prepare properly, be professional and play the way we have been.
"The boys will have the freedom to express themselves and if they keep believing, there's no reason we can't do it."
