Aldi to recruit 15 apprentices in Kent

Aldi is looking to recruit around 15 apprentices throughout Kent this year.
The supermarket will be looking for people to begin work at its existing stores in Canterbury, Dover, Gillingham, Hythe, Maidstone, Margate, Ramsgate, Sheerness, Sittingbourne and Strood.
It will also be hiring for upcoming stores in Aylesford and Herne Bay which are due to open later in the year.
The company aims to hire more than 700 apprentices across the UK with its recruitment drive closing at the end of October.
The courses in retail management last for three years, with a mixture of in-store and theory work.

Apprentices who complete the training will be able to progress to assistant store manager, with a starting salary of £30,000.
Regional managing director Graham Hetherington said: “The Aldi apprenticeship scheme has been hugely successful in delivering hundreds of roles for dedicated people nationwide in the four years since we launched the scheme.
