East Kent Apprenticeship Awards 2021: Winners revealed

The winners of the East Kent Apprenticeship Awards (EKAA) have been unveiled.
Organisers of the annual event aim to recognise both apprentices and those businesses and organisations providing the opportunities across a range of sectors.
The winners this year, presented during a virtual ceremony, were:
Apprentice of the Year – Health, Social Care & Science: Rachel Macleod; Apprentice of the Year – Education & Early Years: Nathan Hogben; Apprentice of the Year – Hair & Beauty: Lucy Kidd; Apprentice of the Year – Business Management & Administration: Megan Baxter; Apprentice of the Year – Construction: Steven Godden; Apprentice of the Year – Engineering: Oliver Coleman; Public Sector Organisation of the Year: East Kent Hospital University Trust; Private Sector Organisation of the Year: Oyster Financial Solutions; Apprentice Champion of Covid-19: Mollie Lynn-Stace.
Tina Beckham from the East Kent Hospital University Trust (EKHUFT) was named East Kent Apprenticeship Champion of the Year.
She said: “It means so much to me personally as I see myself as the overall driver, enthusiast and supporter for the audiology apprenticeship with EKHUFT. This award also recognises the hard-working acute audiology team who all have their individual roles in supporting our apprentices on their audiology journey.”
The awards were organised by marketing agency Pillory Barn and the EKC Group.
